Calvin Trillin is a living legend. He has written for Time, The New Yorker and The Nation, among other publications. His subjects include food, travel and politics. He is also a novelist and short-story writer. In recent years, he has bravely picked up the mantle of Ogden Nash as doggerelist-in-chief.
Dogfight, his latest, is mostly tortured verse and a few short-short stories, all with the Trillin wry humor, about our recent election.
