Jon Kruse

Jon Kruse has been a fan of All Classical since moving to Portland in the mid-90's. Seeking out great classical music offerings, Jon found All Classical as well as the Portland Baroque Orchestra, where he had his formative board experience, earning the 2004 Volunteer Leadership Award from Northwest Business for Culture & the Arts. He has since served as Chair of the Boards of the Children’s Book Bank, the Oregon Zoo Foundation, and the Multnomah County Library Levy Campaign. In 2010, he was appointed by Govenor Kulongoski to the board of the Oregon Cultural Trust, where he served one term. He currently serves on the board of the Oregon Historical Society, leading the organization’s digital outreach and communications efforts.

Currently an independent consultant, Jon is a 20+ year technology veteran who spent 18 years at Intel, where he served most recently as a Director for Intel Capital. When he isn’t working or volunteering for various organizations, you might find him singing with his daughters in the Portland Revels, coaching their lacrosse teams, or enjoying the great outdoors. He also loves to spend time perfecting his recipe for pasta sauce, organizing the family finances, and spoiling his black Labrador retriever.
