First Presbyterian’s Chancel Choir is joined by a seven-piece instrumental ensemble in a performance of Rutter’s 1985 work combining elements of the traditional Latin mass with Biblical passages in English. This All Saints’ Day inspired concert is dedicated to the memories of beloved family members and friends who have died. Dr. Ethan Sperry, Director of Choral Activities at Portland State University, is guest conductor, and Greg Homza, Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian, accompanies on organ. Free parking is available in the church’s garage, with an entrance on S.W. 12th Avenue just past Morrison Street.
