Chanticleer-180x180

A favorite of Portland audiences, Chanticleer has developed a remarkable reputation for its vivid interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music. With its seamless blend of twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass, Chanticleer is known as “the world’s reigning male chorus,” by the New Yorker magazine.  The Siren’s Call includes works by Vaughn Williams, Samuel Barber, John Corigliano, Josquin des Prés, Palestrina, Chen Yi, Steven Stucky, Bernard Rands, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi — and more. Visit link above for ticket information. At Kaul Auditorium on the campus of Reed College, 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, 97202.
