Come immerse yourself in the taste and aroma of Chinese food and test your chopstick skills. Listen as 14 local Chinese restaurants, chefs and Chinese food experts guide visitors’ taste buds on an adventure through China’s vast culinary experience.
Talks and tastes occur every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in June at noon. Topics include the history and art of dumplings, pot stickers, Lanzhou-style noodle pulling, dim sum, marbled tea eggs and the history of Szechuan cuisine. Additionally, visitors can try their hand at “The Chopstick Challenge,” a fun and easy way to see how well you truly can do with a pair of chopsticks. As an extra benefit, each restaurant provides members of Lan Su a discount on meals throughout the month (some restrictions do apply).
