The LCA celebrates its 76th season with five Sunday evening concerts. The 130-voice choir has members from about 75 churches and several denominations and has sung continuously since 1938. The repertoire is broad, with music from traditional choral to down home gospel, from tender to majestic. Composers/arrangers include John Rutter, Maurice Durufle, Mary McDonald, Paul Christiansen, Marc Robinson and Mark Hayes. Sue Thompson Armentrout directs the choir, accompanied by Karl Jurisons.
