The Early Music group Musica Maestrale presents a program of lesser-known gems of the late Baroque from Germany and Italy, written for some unusual instrument combinations. Victoria Gunn plays viola and viola d’amore, Scott Johnson is on harpsichord and Brandon Labadie performs on oboe, while Hideki Yamaya plays archlute and mandolino, all performing music that includes works by Telemann, Vivaldi, and Scarlatti. Tickets available from Musica Maestrale or at the door. Two performances, both at 7:30 p.m.: April 11 at Saints Peter and Paul Episcopal Church, 8147 S.E. Pine Street, and April 12 at the Community Music Center, 3350 S.E. Francis Street.
