Hear some of the greatest choral music ever written for the holidays, sung in a place that captures both the joy and the majesty of the season. Glory of Christmas includes Anton Bruckner’s majestic Virga Jesse Floruit, Magnificat of Arvo Part and Portland native Morten Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium. The second half features traditional carols, including O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, Joy to the World, Coventry Carol, and two pieces by Oregon Repertory Singers amazing accompanist, Naomi LaViolette. And as is tradition we sing Franz Biebl’s magnificent Ave Maria. Performances repeat December 13, 7:30 pm, December 14, 4:00 pm and December 15, 4:00 pm. Individual tickets on sale November 1, 2013.
