Portland Shakespeare Project unleashes The Tempest with the indomitable Linda Alper as Prospera, directed by Michael Mendelson. The Tempest  is a magical journey of acceptance and reconciliation, power and control, and betrayal, revenge and forgiveness. Those emotions are merely the tip of the iceberg of what lies within the text of this spectacular work.
Performances run through August 3, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7:30pm, Sunday 2:00pm. Tickets available at Artists Repertory Theatre website.
