American-Austrian fortepianist, clavichordist, former Oregon resident and Linfield College faculty, Richard Fuller returns to Portland to present a recital of fortepiano works. Fuller released a new CD on the Gramola label of Vienna of C.P.E. Bach’s keyboard works with selections from Bach’s Collection für Kenner u. Liebhaber and several free fantasias which capture the composer’s inimitable art of improvisation. In addition to performing works by C.P.E. Bach as included in his latest CD, Fuller also performs two of Joseph Haydn’s greatest and most unique piano sonatas in C-Sharp minor and G-major from the 6 sonatas dedicated to Marianne and Franziska Auenbrugger (1779).
