First, we explore comedy and tragedy in Mozart’s Overture to Don Giovanni. We explore death in Sibelius’ Valse Triste from Kuolema. Portland native Mark Goodenberger, joins us to perform Emmanuel Séjourné’s Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra. And we end the program with Beethoven’s jovial and capricious Symphony No. 2 in D Major. Nikolas Caoile, Conductor and Artistic Director.
