Samantha Van Der Merwe directs Mark Ravenhill’s darkly humorous exploration of artistic envy. A highly successful artist invites her old friends to reunite, and for one memorable night, the group is back together. After a sudden accident leaves the host fighting for her life, however, latent resentment and jealousy are reawakened, inspiring a new plan: to transform the suffering into their latest work of art. Performances April 11 through May 10, Thursdays–Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Thursdays are Pay-What-You-Will. Tickets available from Theatre Vertigo, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, and by calling 503-306-0870.
