Technical Information


All Classical is an 8,700 watt full service public radio station that provides classical music programming to the Portland, Oregon and Southwest Washington area 24 hours a day. Our studios are located in Portland, Oregon at 515 NE 15th Avenue

Coverage Area
Broadcasting at All Classical in Portland and on KQHR at 90.1 in Hood River, our signal reaches Longview, Washington to the north, Salem, Oregon to the south, and from the Coastal Range to the Cascades. Our Hood River station extends our signal into the Columbia River Gorge. In May 2008, we launched KQAC 88.1 FM to the central Oregon Coast.l.

KBPS is streaming its broadcast via the Internet to all corners of the world. You can find links to this stream on our web site at www.allclassical.org and at www.oregonlive.com.

HD Radio
All Classical is now broadcasting in High-Definition HD Radio. This new service provides CD-quality sound, improved reception, and data services for those people who have an HD Radio receiver..

Santa Fe Trip DEADLINE Approaches

With only one month to go before we jet off to see Verdi's Falstaff in Santa Fe, this is the last week to sign up to come along.


Our 5-day trip to New Mexico August 1-5 features the renowned Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the celebrated Santa Fe Opera, private museum tours and indigenous markets.

Our European trip in October incudes Vienna and Venice interspersed with a visit to fair Verona. Expect classical music all along the way.
