On the next Saturday Matinee, host Ed Goldberg offers an eclectic collection of musical gems, including: The Nightingale Polka of Johann Strauss, an aria from that same composer’s operetta Die Fledermaus, and the theme from the first summer blockbuster movie – Jaws. Marches performed by the Swedish Air Force Band, a lovely string quartet arrangement of Paul McCartney’s Maybe I’m Amazed, and a work by Portland composer David Schiff are also included on the show. Where’s that kitchen sink? Tune in at 10 a.m. on July 13.
