The Oregon Symphony ends its current classical season with a program that includes the Brahms Symphony No. 1 and Suppé’s Overture to The Beautiful Galathea. Jennifer Koh solos in the Violin Concerto No. 2 of Bela Bartók. Four performances in all: May 17 at 8 p.m. in Smith Auditorium on the campus of Willamette University in Salem; and then evening performances in Schnitzer Hall on May 18, 19 and 20.
