PSU Offers the 9th
Ken Selden leads the PSU Symphony Orchestra and Choir, Man Choir, and Vox Femina in a performance of Beethoven's final symphony at First Methodist Church, 1838 S.W. Jefferson, at 8 p.m. on Feb. 24. Admission $12, $7 for students. Tickets available at 503-725-3307, emailing tickets@pdx.edu, or going in person to Smith Memorial Union on campus. Remaining tickets available at the door prior to the concert.

The Peaceable Kingdom
In their next concert, Choral Arts Ensemble of Portland explores the themes of peace and love through the songs of 20th century American choral composers, including Randall Thompson. These composers drew inspiration from a variety of secular and sacred sources, including iconic paintings of American folk painter Edward Hicks. Performances Feb. 25 & 26.
