Growing up, my constant companion was radio – magically connecting me to bigger than life voices, music, news, baseball scores and exotic, far-flung places. After my first career as an art gallery director, the ever present lure of radio lead me back to my hometown and first radio job at WMRA in the Shenandoah Valley. I have since worked in the system in a variety of roles: nationally syndicated DJ, music director, program director, and general manager, which have included stints at Minnesota Public Radio and KMFA in Austin. As I enter my 25th year as a broadcaster, I say all roads seemed to lead to the Pacific Northwest and an independent classical music service, where I consider myself the curator and caretaker of a unique and evolving brand – All Classical Portland, where we love this music! Every day I am thankful for a supportive community and an incredible broadcast team.
