NW Dance Project presents Common Ground / Contemporary Dance / Program includes Yin Yue’s Common Ground, a World Premiere from Artistic Director Sarah Slipper, and a World Premiere from acclaimed EU choreographer Caroline Finn.

NW Dance Project, which The Oregonian dubbed “an essential part of the Portland arts scene” makes its Reser debut with a trio of works from three of the most accomplished and promising female choreographers in contemporary dance. Be the first to experience a world premiere work from NW Dance Project’s own founding Artistic Director Sarah Slipper, as well as a world premiere work from Caroline Finn, Resident Choreographer of National Dance Company Wales, whose work is sharp, poignant, and humorous. Also on the program is Common Ground from Chinese choreographer Yin Yue, which is an energetic and mesmerizing blend of Chinese traditional folk dance and contemporary dance (known as FoCo).
