Adam’s Run is a new operatic dark comedy by composer Ruby Fulton and librettist Baynard Woods. Set in a near-future America in the throes of climate collapse, “Existentialist Weather Woman” Julie Shore and “Environmentalist Evangelist” Reverend Billy Noble vie for America’s viewership. Despite ideological differences, Billy and Julie choose to work together, but not without retaliation from Billy’s fervent followers. Television producer Dana Daring tells their story as a series of flashbacks.
