OPERA IN THE PARK Portland presents Giuseppe Verdi’s dramatic “Rigoletto”, starring acclaimed baritone Luís Ledesma as Rigoletto and American soprano Aubry Ballerò in her Oregon debut as his daughter Gilda. Dashing Mexican tenor César Delgado is the Duke of Mantua. Other soloists include DeAndre Simmons, who sang a major role in “Aida” last year, and Portland favorites Richard Zeller, Hannah Penn and Jocelyn Claire Thomas. Our Artistic Director, Keith Clark, winner of the prestigious American Prize for Opera Conducting, leads the production.
