THE SALEM PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA PRESENTS “ORCHESTRA TO THE FORE” ON DECEMBER 3rd & 4th, led by guest conductor, Dr. Mark Stanek from Corban University. This all-orchestra concert begins with William Walton’s “Crown Imperial March”, followed by Richard Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll”, and ending with Jean Sibelius’ glorious “Symphony No. 2 in D”.
Concerts begin at 7:00pm on Saturday, and 3:00pm on Sunday. Salem Phil’s venue is the East Salem Community Center, 1850 45th Ave. NE, Salem, OR 97305. Dr. Stanek will give a pre-concert talk at 6:15pm on Saturday and 2:15pm on Sunday.
Admission: $20 (Adults ages 18-64); $18 (Students 18-64/Srs. 65+); $0 (children/youth through age 17). Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.salemphil.org/buy-tickets/, or at the door on concert day. Contact information@salemphil.org with questions.
