THE SALEM PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA PRESENTS “TALES OF PERSEPHONE!” ON OCTOBER 14TH & 15TH, led Artistic Director, Jonathan DeBruyn! This concert begins with W. A. Mozart’s Overture to The Abduction From the Seraglio, followed by Antonín Dvořák’s symphonic poem, The Water Goblin, and ends with Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s lush symphonic suite, Scheherazade. Concerts begin at 7:00pm on Saturday, and 3:00pm on Sunday. Salem Phil’s venue is the East Salem Community Center, 1850 45th Ave. NE, Salem , OR 97305. Maestro DeBruyn will give a pre-concert talk at 6:15pm on Saturday and 2:15pm on Sunday. Admission: $20 (Adults ages 18-64); $18 (Students 18-64/Srs. 65+); $0 (children/youth through age 17).
