THE SALEM PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA PRESENTS “EAST EUROPEAN ROMANTICISM!” ON APRIL 15th & 16th, led by guest conductor, Dr. John Carter. This concert features East European Romanticists, beginning with Bedřich Smetana’s dramatic symphonic poem Šárka, followed by Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring guest soloist, Crystal Zimmerman. The concert continues after intermission with Antonín Dvořák’s majestic Symphony No. 6. Concerts begin at 7:00pm on Saturday, and 3:00pm on Sunday.
Carter will give a pre-concert talk at 6:15pm on Saturday and 2:15pm on Sunday.
Admission: $20 (Adults ages 18-64); $18 (Students 18-64/Srs. 65+); $0 (children/youth through age 17).
