Join us for a concert of beautiful artistry featuring Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor” performed by Tomas Otten. According to the New York Times, Otten is “An extremely original player…a formidable technique at the service of his ideas.”

Following this great music is a beautiful little piece by Aaron Copland, “Down a Country Lane”.
Finally comes Alexandar Borodin’s “Symphony No. 2 in B minor”. This symphony remains an audience favorite for a combination of reasons: its compact structure, unusual harmonies, rapidly shifting colors and moods, and joyous vitality.

Come early at 3:00pm for our popular, in-depth discussion by Sunnyside Symphony’s dynamic Conductor, Jonathan DeBruyn. He’ll delve into the music, the composers, the times they lived in, and answer your questions.
