IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild

Pianist and native Oregonian Hunter Noack performs on a nine-foot Steinway grand piano at 13 spectacular landscapes across Oregon and Southern Washington. Similar to a silent disco, wireless headphones (available on a first-come, first-served basis) give concertgoers freedom to watch the musicians or wander through secret glens, lie in sunny meadows, and roam old growth forests.

Hunter Noack will be joined by a rotating roster of special guest performers, including singer Katie Harman Ebner (Miss America 2002),Pink Martini’s Nicholas Crosa (violin), Pansy Chang (cello), and Thomas M. Lauderdale (piano), along with members of: Portland Chamber Orchestra, Rogue Valley Symphony, Sunriver Music Festival Young Artists Program, and Hood River String Quartet to perform music of Liszt, Schubert, Brahms, Ravel, Bloch, and Cage.
