Vancouver Symphony Orchestra: 2017 Annual Fundraising Gala, “September Serenade”

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra celebrates opening night with the 2017 Annual Fundraising Gala, September Serenade

The event will be held immediately following the season opening concert, which will feature internationally renowned violin virtuoso, Anne Akiko Meyers. The celebratory evening boasts a progression of spirits, gourmet delights, and live music. Maestro Brotons and Mrs. Meyers will be in attendance as special guests of honor.

The Annual Gala is the VSO’s primary fundraiser of the season, supporting classical concerts, chamber music, and the extensive music education outreach programs the VSO offers throughout the year. This year’s event, September Serenade, highlights the VSO’s message of “Building a Legacy of Leaders through Music, Education and Community Partners”.

The evening features a cocktail hour with signature cocktails, hand-crafted for the Gala, followed by a progressive dinner of delicious NW cuisine catered by Beaches Restaurant. Auction items and The “Parties of Note” — exclusive destination parties — are available for purchase at the event. Guests will dance to live classical and jazz music presented by a VSO chamber ensemble, local professional jazz musicians, and young artists, both indoors and on the grounds of the estate.
