The 2018-2019 season of the Metropolitan Opera is made possible by a gift from the Buckmaster Trust, honoring the life and legacy of Duane Buckmaster, a man who reveled in the magic of opera and fly-fishing for the wily trout. Buck loved both in equal measure.

Launched in 1931, the Metropolitan Opera’s Saturday matinee broadcasts are the longest-running continuous classical music program in radio history.

The Metropolitan Opera Saturday broadcasts air every Saturday morning throughout the season at 10 a.m.
