Celebrating Earth Day
April 22nd is Earth Day, and at All Classical Portland we will celebrate our beautiful planet through music.
Throughout the day’s programming, beginning in the 7 a.m. hour, All Classical Portland’s hosts will share music inspired by the earth and all that is found in nature: water, wind, flora and fauna, sunshine, and thunderstorms.
Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, Pastoral Symphony, or Recollections of Country Life, The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens, and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending are just a few of the beautiful, nature-inspired works you’ll hear on the air in celebration of Earth Day.
You can bring All Classical Portland with you as you enjoy the wonders of nature this Earth Day — and all year round — through the official All Classical Portland mobile app. All your favorite hosts and shows can accompany you throughout your day even when you are on the go! Download the app on Google Play or the App Store.
