Fourth of July at All Classical Portland

Join us on the 4th of July weekend at All Classical Portland for an array of music celebrating the diverse heritage of the United States. Throughout the weekend, you’ll hear music by American composers like Aaron Copland, Florence Price, Amy Beach, and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson.

This Saturday on The Score, Join Host Edmund Stone for a celebration of American history, as seen through the cameras of Hollywood, from the post-World War II era and even venturing into the future. Enjoy music from West Side Story, Apocalypse Now, Minari, The Martian, and more.

And on Sunday afternoon, you’ll hear a special broadcast of an All Classical Portland commission: String Quartet No. 1, “Neo-Soul,” by Portland composer Damien Geter!
