Shared Horizons: A Live-Streamed Concert

The Portland Chamber Orchestra and Nordic Northwest invite you to a live-streamed concert, September 19, at 7 pm. From the comfort and safety of home, subscribers will hear music by the first known Black classical composer, Joseph Bologne (1745 – 1799); and George Theophilus Walker, the first Black composer awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music (1996). Also featured are selections from “Woodworks” by The Danish String Quartet. PCO’s string quartet will discuss these historic and elegant works during this unique concert.

Tickets are $15 per household. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to  nordicnorthwest.org/shared-horizons-concert or visit portlandchamberorchestra.org
