Portland Chamber Orchestra presents concerts relating the story of George Gershwin’s life through the eyes of his brother Ira. Vocalists Rocky Blumhagen and Susannah Mars tell the tale as, respectively, Ira Gershwin and Kay Swift, friend and companion to George. Lindsay Deutsch opens the show with an arrangement of Rhapsody in Blue for violin and chamber orchestra. Yaacov Bergman conducts.
