This week’s Thursdays @ Three features Juliana Soltis and the Oregon Repertory Singers. Juliana Soltis performs on historic Baroque and Classical cellos, violoncello piccolo, and the viola da gamba. An ardent and enthusiastic performer-scholar, Soltis is passionate about crafting concert experiences that empower audiences to reach across the centuries and form deep and lasting personal connections with historical music. Raised amidst the rich musical traditions of southern Appalachia, Soltis now divides her time touring both domestically and abroad––from New York, to Osaka, to Helsinki and Venice––as both soloist and chamber musician. Currently based in Seattle, Washington, when not on the road Soltis enjoys cooking, boxing, and spending time with her rescue greyhound, Rain. Oregon Repertory Singers perform world-class music accessible to all. Their professional-caliber adult choir of over 90 members was recently lauded as “the city’s finest large choir.” A subset of sixteen singers will grace the Roger O’Doyle studio with beautiful and seasonally appropriate fare! Christa Wessel hosts the program which airs Thursday, December 7 at 3pm.
