This week on Thursdays @ Three, host Christa Wessel welcomes Indonesian-born pianist, composer, and arranger Lifia Teguh to the Roger O. Doyle performance studio. Lifia’s mission is to to change people’s lives through music. She’ll perform a musical set of classical and Indonesian fusion.

ABOUT
As a classically trained pianist, Lifia Teguh has performed in the USA, Europe, and Asia both as a soloist and as part of the renowned summer festival Music Fest Perugia, G. Lettimi Conservatory International Master Classes, and Warsaw Piano Workshop. Lifia is also a recipient of the Monday Musical Club Scholarship in Portland, a grand-finalist of Petri Scholarship Competition, and has received awards in regional and national piano competitions in her country, Indonesia. Her piano quartet score, Liber Dangdut, was performed in College Music Society & American Musicological Society Pacific NW Conference.
As an educator, she serves as a piano faculty member at Linfield University, while she also nurtures students in her private studio.
