This week on Thursday’s @ Three, Christa Wessel welcomes concert pianist Tetiana Shafran, the 2019 winner of the Second Triennial Olga Kern International Piano Competition and prizewinner of approximately 18 other international piano competitions.

As your virtual concert hall, All Classical Portland will continue to offer our Thursdays @ Three  weekly concert to listeners around the world.

About the Artist:

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Tetiana Shafran started playing piano at the age of 3. Tetiana graduated from the Lysenko Special Music School and the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine with A. Vasin (2012) and O.Yablonskaya Piano Academy with prof. Oxana Yablonskaya(USA-Israel), from 2015-2017, Spain-Israel.

Tetiana has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls of Europe, South and North America, Africa, Australia and Asia, including the Shenzhen Grand Theatre (Shenzhen, China), Lindeman Hall (Oslo, Norway), Llevellyn Hall (Canberra, Australia), Popejoy Concert Hall (NM, USA), Main hall of Palau de la Musica (Valencia, Spain), and Theatre Mohammed V (Rabat, Morocco) among others.
