July 17, 2025: Host Christa Wessel welcomes OrpheusPDX and Concerts at the Barn to All Classical Radio’s Irving Levin Performance Hall.
OrpheusPDX shares an exclusive preview of their upcoming production of Scipio’s Dream (Il Sogno di Scipione), featuring music by Mozart and a libretto by Pietro Metastasio. Inspired by Cicero’s tale of a Roman general who dreams he has awakened in the heavens, enjoy Mozart’s sublime arias, originally composed in 1771, when he was only 15 years old.
Then, cellist Trevor Fitzpatrick, clarinetist James Shields, and pianist María García share a taste of what’s to come at the 2025 Concerts at the Barn. Enjoy music by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Kenji Bunch, and more.
