The Portland Saxophone Ensemble is a collection of professional and post-graduate classical saxophonists committed to sharing the vibrant and growing repertoire of saxophone chamber music. Recent highlights include appearances at the North American Saxophone Alliance regional conference in April 2025 and at Chamber Music Northwest in 2023 and 2024.

Born in Wayne, New Jersey, vocalist Luigi Boccia was raised in a small town called Serino in the Southern Italian region of Campania. There he developed a passion for music, singing, and learning in his early childhood.

He graduated from Liceo Classico and earned a Master’s Degree in Musicology. He now lives in Portland, Oregon and can often be seen performing at various venues around the city.
