Trinity Music: Scarlatti's Stabat Mater

Trinity Music and Portland Baroque Orchestra join forces for an extraordinary evening of sacred masterworks. Domenico Scarlatti’s rarely-performed Stabat Mater—a masterpiece of intricate counterpoint and profound emotional depth—pairs with J.S. Bach’s poignant Cantata 106 (Actus tragicus), a meditation on life, death, and hope.

Featuring soloists Vakarė Petroliūnatė, Hannah Penn, Les Green, and Daniel Pickens-Jones and members of the Trinity Schola.
