Event Details

Oregon Soundscapes is a program of short works for solo piano inspired by favorite locations around the Pacific Northwest, including the Portland Rose Garden, the blustery Cape Perpetua, the mysterious Oregon Caves, the mystical Cascade waterfalls, and the explosive Mt. St. Helens. Originally commissioned by the University of Oregon back in June 2024, this project was expanded by Cascadia Composers to include works not only by founders Steven James and Andrew Cannestra, but by ELEVEN other regional members of Cascadia Composers! These works will be performed by a team of five accomplished graduates of the University of Oregon piano performance program: Andrew Cannestra, Alfie Ong, and Portland natives Steven James, Dylan Nguyen, and Evelina Khoreshko.

General Admission: $30/33 (at the door); Cascadia Members/Seniors/Veterans/Working Artists $20/23 (at the door); Students $10/$13 (at the door)
