PIANO DAY 2026

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, Portlanders of all ages are invited to gather downtown for PIANO DAY 2026, a free, public celebration of the piano at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Hosted by SoundsTruck NW® in partnership with Portland Piano International, the event takes place at the Square’s Small Amphitheater and welcomes audiences to come and go throughout the day.
Part of the global Piano Day celebration observed around the world, Piano Day 2026 transforms Portland’s “living room” into a welcoming space for music-making, bringing together professional pianists, students, adult learners, and the general public for a shared, all-ages experience centered around the piano.

The four-hour celebration features Community Piano Share (11AM & 1PM), inviting all-ages students and adult learners to share the piano in a welcoming public setting; a special featured concert by internationally acclaimed pianist Filippo Gorini (12PM), presented by Portland Piano International; and Spotlight on Portland Pianists (2PM), a celebratory finale highlighting the depth and artistry of the region’s piano community.
