Event Details
Located along the shores of Puget Sound, Golden Gardens Park offers wide views across the water toward the Olympic Mountains. The park’s open beach, forested slopes, and restored shoreline reflect both its coastal setting and long history as a gathering place at the edge of the city.
Golden Gardens was developed in 1907 by Harry W. Treat as the destination of the Ballard Beach streetcar line, created to draw Seattle residents west for a day at the water. Over time, the site transitioned into public parkland and remains one of Seattle’s enduring waterfront landscapes.
The IN A LANDSCAPE concert takes place on the lawn at the north end of the park, with space to gather near the piano and move through paths leading past the duck pond and onto a quieter stretch of beach.
This concert is presented in partnership with Trust for Public Land, a national nonprofit working to connect people to the outdoors and protect public land for public use. From iconic landscapes to neighborhood parks, TPL works with communities to create and care for places where people can gather, play, and experience nature.
This event takes place on the ancestral homeland of the Duwamish and Suquamish peoples.
