Located east of Seattle along Snoqualmie Pass in the Cascade Mountains, Suncadia is a resort community shaped by conservation and landscape stewardship. Of its 6,400 acres, roughly two-thirds remain protected through conservation easements held in partnership with the Kittitas Conservation Trust, preserving forest, meadow, and river corridors along the Cle Elum River.
The IN A LANDSCAPE concert takes place in a forest clearing at the north edge of the lodge, overlooking the Cle Elum River as it moves through the canyon below. Many listeners choose to arrive early to explore nearby trails or extend their stay on property, where lodging and dining are easily accessible before and after the concert.
This site is located on the traditional homelands of the Kittitas people, part of the Yakama Nation, and other closely related Indigenous groups. The name “Cle Elum” comes from the Kittitas language, meaning “swift water.”
