Tomás Cotik is internationally recognized as a soloist, chamber musician, and professor. A highly sought-after recording artist, Dr. Cotik has released 19 CD recordings for Naxos and Centaur Records, accumulating over six million streams and receiving more than 200 enthusiastic reviews from the international press. Dedicated to sharing his passion for music, Dr. Cotik holds the position of Professor of Violin at Portland State University.

Dr. Cotik has been recently honored with several prestigious awards, including First Prize in The American Prize for String Performance (2025), the Dean’s Council Award for Research, the Kamelia Massih Outstanding Faculty Prize, five Global Music Awards, two International Classical Music Awards nominations, a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, and a Fulbright Scholar Award for Spain.  He will be joined by a pianist and cellist to play Mozart and Ravel piano trios.
