Grammy-winning musicians Balla Kouyaté (balafon, vocals) and Mike Block (cello, vocals) are the driving forces behind this six-piece band—three African and three American musicians—that includes djembe, talking drum, calabash, vocals, percussion, guitar, bass, and sinter.
