In Mulieribus collaborates with cellists Valdine Mishkin and Eric Alterman on a captivating program exploring motion, surprise, and transformation. Enjoy music from with Richard Einhorn’s A Carnival of Miracles.

Then, 25 mandolinists from the Oregon Mandolin Orchestra and music director Christian McKee fill our Hall and airwaves with music inspired by the natural world.

ABOUT

In Mulieribus (een-moo-lee-EH-ree-boos) — the Latin phrase meaning “among women” — is a women’s vocal ensemble dedicated to strengthening community through the art of music. The ensemble specializes in works written before 1750 and champions new repertoire by women composers and for women’s voices.

The Oregon Mandolin Orchestra is dedicated to bringing the beauty of mandolin music to audiences while providing opportunities for local musicians to perform. Today, the nonprofit, all-volunteer Oregon Mandolin Orchestra counts over two dozen dues-paying members who play mandolin, mandola, mandocello, mandobass, classical guitar, and bass – a beautiful rainbow of plucked string instruments.
