Spanish guitarist and composer Pipo Romero performs at Alberta Abbey on Tuesday, November 10.

Originally from Cádiz, Romero brings flamenco, Iberian and Latin American folk influences into contemporary fingerstyle on the steel-string acoustic guitar. His melodic, expressive instrumental music bridges tradition and innovation.

His international appearances include Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center.

“His virtuosic performance lifts the spirits and brings joy to everyone.”
— Jordana Leigh, Senior Vice President, Artistic Programming, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
