Washington Post-praised guitarist and vihuelist David Rogers explores the musical landscape of Spain through the lens of Valencian court musician Luis Milán. This program blends Arab and European influences with an organic, improvisational spirit that is both historically rich and deeply moving.
Also featured will be Sephardic and North African music that originates in the Andalusian traditions. David will also play modern, Flamenco inspired Spanish Christmas music.

Termed, ‘a prominent guitarist,’ by the New York Times, David Rogers maintains an active solo and ensemble career as a classical guitarist and performer on early plucked strings.
