Pipe Organ Recital

As part of the Celebration Works concert series, concert organist Jaebon Hwang will play a varied program for Spring and Eastertide, including works by J.S. Bach and Louis Vierne, along with some lesser-known composers from the US, England, and France, including Nadia Boulanger and Jeanne Demessieux. The concert will take place in First Presbyterian Church’s historic Sanctuary at SW 12th and Alder in downtown Portland, on their 3-manual, 52-stop Jaeckel tracker pipe organ. This concert is offered free of charge as a gift to the community, and validated parking is available in the church’s underground garage.
