Join us for the Red Door Project: Evolving Through Film— the world premiere screening of a powerful new film from Portland’s Red Door Project. Expanding upon their award winning theatrical work of Hands Up, Cop Out, and The Evolve Experience, this new work uses storytelling to introduce multiple conflicting truths, challenging our assumptions and inviting deeper thinking.
Following the screening, stay for a compelling post-film conversation with Red Door Project co-founders Lesli Mones and Kevin Jones. They will discuss the artistic choices behind this new medium, and the power of storytelling as a tool for social transformation. This evening offers not only a screening, but an invitation—to reflect, to engage, and to be part of a larger conversation about how deep listening and meaningful dialogue create resilience. Whether you’ve seen The Red Door Project on stage or are encountering it for the first time, this film screening and dialogue promises to be a bold, thought-provoking experience.
Founded in 2011, The Red Door Project is an award-winning nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to using storytelling to bridge divides. Our work explores the complexities of social issues fostering dialogue that leads to meaningful change.
