Girolamo Frescobaldi is a major figure in the history of keyboard music with a widespread and lasting influence on his contemporaries and later generations. This recital of 17th century music will explore the colorful, expressive style of Frescobaldi and its echoes in the works of Johann Jakob Froberger, Louis Couperin, and Michelangelo Rossi. Wesley Leffingwell is an up-and-coming young artist visiting from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
