Please join us for the Founders Fête, a fundraiser celebrating 25 years of outstanding leadership by White Bird Co-Founders Walter Jaffe and Paul King, and looking forward to the next 25 years.Paul and Walter, who co-founded White Bird in 1997, have earned sterling reputations as knowledgeable and generous presenters throughout their time at White Bird’s helm. Now, after sharing leadership with Executive Director Graham Cole throughout our landmark 25th Anniversary Season, Paul and Walter are passing leadership on to Graham. October 4 will mark the final night Paul and Walter will deliver their pre-show remarks.

We invite you to join us on this important night, raising a toast to Paul and Walter. We will start the night off right, with abundant food and drinks, followed by the return of the White Bird Awards and entertainment by Co-Hosts Poison Waters and Dale Johannes. We’ll share the many exciting developments on our horizon, and introduce a new initiative aimed at securing our next 25 years of bringing the world’s best dance to Portland.
